I do not feel safe having my kids in this school anymore. My son is to scared to go to school there because he almost got jumped by 10 students. Im sure back then it wasnt this bad but im trying to get my kids outta there.

This school is not a good school for your children to attend. It is extremely strict and gruesome. I mean, a bit of strictness isn't too horrible. When that strictness limits your fun completely, though, it does become a problem. The yard duty and some staff seem to really enjoy pointing out every little thing you do wrong with your uniform. Teachers like pointing out everything you do wrong on their project that is way too much work for the little amount of time they give you. I have only had one teacher who seemed to care for our wellbeing, so props to him. Everyone else, though, either doesn't even try to teach their children, or overworks us to the point of being extremely stressed out. Many times I have had breakdowns just because of the workload they give us. They don't care, though. Since no one complains, they just give us more and more work. It's so overwhelming. Also, if you are getting bullied, no one cares. If you do happen to report it, the person or people bullying you either get a warning or a small punishment, like a lunch detention. After that they just continue to tease you. You can report it as much as you want, but no one is gonna do anything about it. Maybe all of this will change in the future. I'd hope so. But for now, I do not recommend this school for any student, especially ones that already struggle with maintaining their work at their current school.

My son’s first year at Dover attending kindergarten. It was a pleasure to have Mrs.Anthony as his teacher. Her professionalism, patience, kindness and love to her students is outstanding. The principal is nice and helpful , when I had a concern about my sons learning it was easy to get his IEP going because he needs extra help. Both, The principal and Mrs.anthony made me feel confident that my son began to receive that extra help he needs. Office staff have always been welcoming and always assisting with a smile on their face. Ive never ran into any issue with the school or staff everything runs extremely smooth there. I am happy and satisfied with Dover Elementary and looking forward to the next few years my son will be attending here.
