6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been going steadily downhill for several years. Look at the Great School rating and listen to previous student and parent experiences. Fights, bullying and behavior issues are making for a chaotic and unwelcoming school environment. There may be a lot of student activities but my kids opted out of most of them due to not wanting to be in an unsafe place with limited supervision. The administration have either given up or simply don’t care. We’re strong proponents of the public school system but strongly considering moving or putting our youngest daughter in a private school when she reaches the middle school years.Parent Review1mo ago - Castro Valley High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school isn’t absolutely horrible but I do think there is better alternatives. Improvements are very much needed, specifically in addressing conflicts such as bullying, racism, and homophobia etc… , many teachers exhibit rudeness, disrespect, and a lack of patience towards students as well.Student Review5mo ago - Chabot Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur student came from a lower rated school across the bay to this one thinking it’s going to be much better. We were so wrong. Quite the opposite. Many issues with this school. Lack of support for emotional/learning issues. No GATE program. Some teachers and staff that don’t bother communicating issues to parents. Students not allowed to have swings, play on soccer field, or play on playground outside school hours. Don’t send your child here. Look at the school rating compared to the other local schools. When’s the last time this school won a distinguished school award? Decades ago.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 3675-3677 Christensen Ln.
