This has been a very challenging school year and 38 completely exceeded my expectations. My son in Kindergarten (the non-gifted classroom) left reading above grade level, loved his teacher and friends, and thrived during a really difficult and confusing time. He's been doing even better since we have gone to 5 days per week. Im very appreciative of my experience at 38 for the past 2 years.

For heavens sake, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS TERRIBLE SCHOOL. I am a 7th grader at this school, and I CAN'T WAIT to graduate next year. The academics are supposed to be "collaborative" and "inclusive". WELL THAT DOSEN'T MEAN EXCLUDING PEOPLE WHO AREN'T ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM. Teachers have ignored me numerous times and think "well he's not on the autism spectrum so he shouldn't raise his hand" THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS. Three times a year, this school, like many others, take the MAP test (Measure of Academic Growth) Ever since I've joined this school, I've had significant decreases in growth. I just went from 80th percentile to 50th percentile and hardly any teachers seem to care at all. Don't get me wrong, there are a few excellent teachers who deserve to teach at a much better school, but other than a selective few, the teachers are horrible. And don't get me started on the students. I was called gay several times for liking broadway shows. WHAT? For liking broadway shows? They think "oh this kid is a boy who doesn't like soccer, that makes him gay!" I thought this school was "inclusive! "The academics are also in no way going to prepare me for high school. I could go on and on about this school, but I don't want to bore you. Just PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE.

This school brought me so many memories I’ll never forget not only that but I made so many friends. It was so easy to build friendships in this school not to mention I miss my friends so much.
