When recently moved to VA and chose New Kent as our home. We were worried moving out of our old school district because it was great but we’ve been pleasantly surprised by George Watkins! Everyone is so welcoming and supportive. Love the teachers at this school! They don’t lets children fall behind offering after school tutoring and mentoring. We are very impressed and so happy we are in the boundary for this awesome school!!!

"No public transportation. You have to drive yourself everywhere. Interstate is easily accessible and backroads are also an option when the interstate is backed up. Country living with very little traffic outside of the neighborhood. "

"Live Here ! Love The people everyone is friendly and helpful. Schools are great .I love all the birds. It is quiet and very safe. Everyone knows everyone. The area is growing lots of new places to eat. Physicians and Veterinarians are very close. Close to interstate One of the top hospitals is only 25 minutes away."
