The are has many excellent restaurants, bars, and entertainment. We have an amazing home made ice cream parlor (Mariposa). A good grocery store is close by. Excellent public transportation. The best walking neighborhood I have ever seen. We are close to Balboa Park, downtown, airport, beach, hiking, etc. The local public schools are average but there are nearby private schools that are quite good. The kids around here seem happy. There is a good library nearby."
