There us a strong focus on reading and math but there is a fabulous art and music program that our child is always so excited to participate in. Lots of support from PTA and parent volunteers. The playground equipment was recently upgraded and the kids are loving it. They're is also a big volunteer effort to plant trees and native plants around the school. "We just move to this neighborhood a few months ago and are so happy that we did. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, great for families. "This is a safe neighbourhood. Though, there's someone flying a confederate flag. A police academy is nearby, so you hear lots of gunshots every morning. People park their RVs and horse trailers everywhere and take up a lot of street parking. You definitely need a car."
