"Horrible commute daily from Fremont to Oakland. Over an hour to drive 22miles. Also, drive from Niles to center of Fremont often takes 30 minutes. It’s only 5-6 miles! "
  • Mario H.
"It’s a quiet neighborhood. People are always walking around with their children or pets. Lots of events happen in Niles all year. Car shows, swap meats, ect"
  • Mryjanemorris
"When you drive down the main street, it’s like going back in time. You’ll find antique stores and ice cream and the best pizza in town. There’s always something going on from car shows to garden tours. We even have a train but you can take through the canyon To the next town for a picnic."
  • Michael J.
"Traditional town like vibe . Respectful community. It’s kinda in its own little spot in town, and holdups the north east part of town more or less the bottom of Niles Canyon. "
  • rcvarnum
"Living in the bay area can be a little crazy and in this area of Fremont you will find an oasis of tranquility in this sea a craziness. Main Street has many antique shops and a growing number of great eating venues. If you forget something at the grocery store Mikey's probably carries the item. The elementary school has a great reputation and this past spring as I was walking my dog I watched the kids square dancing on the front patio of the school."
