2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the worst middle school out of all in the KCK district. This school is lacking knowledge and one of the poorest school in the district. Before I came to this middle school, everything was welcoming. Before this middle school, I went to Coronado..I thought Coronado was one of the worst middle schools but I change my mind. Then, I went to West middle school and they were very welcoming and friendly, I didn't have any enemies there and/or Coronado. I'm so glad I got into Sumner Academy of Arts and Sciences, otherwise I would've transferred to a neighboring school district like Piper, Turner, or even Bonner Springs. If you're child is attending this school in the future, I suggest you transfer to Arrowhead Middle School or a neighboring school district, This is one of the worst middle schools I have ever been to and will always be the worst.Other Review8y ago - John F Kennedy Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe K teacher Ms. Maslak is awesome, you can't fault the school for adopting the shitty Common Core curriculum, as the Feds withholds funding if they do not, not to mention Brownback cut funding! I think the school is great as far as kindergarten is concerned, almost wish I wasnt moving until the end of K only because Maslak is fantastic!!!Parent Review8y ago - Washington High School

What Locals Say about Cernech
- Trish B.
- 11y ago
"West Wyandotte county including many neighborhoods in Kansas City KS - W of I-635 now have much to offer with the Legends, Nebraska Furniture Mart and KS Speedway just West of I-435. There's several excellent private schools within KCK (all grade levels + preschool) and plenty of parks, recreation areas and small lake and golf course communities including the Public Golf Course - Painted Hills. KCK neighborhoods are part of Google's new fiber network... Proximity to (both) interstates for commuters is excellent! "
