"The Olivia Beach neighborhood is very family oriented with a beautiful neighborhood park, seasonal pool, and of course the great huge beach with public stair access. "
  • Taylor.flowers19
"I have a peaceful commute that has at the most a school bus causing 5 cars for traffic in the mornings. Coming from Portland, I love that. "
  • Anita Easton
"Lincoln City has gotten run down and seedy. Meth is infiltrating the schools, and the police dept is worthless. It’s filled with homeless now, and unsafe to walk around. People don’t pick up after their dogs either. "
  • Trulia User
"It's not really a neighborhood. More a collection of private second to third homes and VR. Almost all owners do not acossiate with each other. "
  • Trulia User
"My neighborhood is right on the beautiful Ore. Coast. Along with being a popular tourist town, there is also a high % of retired Seniors who live in this neighborhood. I’m one myself!"
  • Trulia User
"Neighborhood get togethers are popular Beach parties Game nights. Local music events and golf tournaments "
  • Trulia User
"local donut shop, beach events, local church, friendly locals, layed back atmosphere. Tourism is strong, but not bad."
  • Lindseystirling
"We are within walking distance to a lake, beach, grocery store, and MVD! I love how quiet the beaches are as well."

"the area is quite and great beaches, the area is clean as well, quick access to Newport or Lincoln City."
  • Subacute13
"Curvy roads leading into town, main roads are 35mph . There are several intersections & can get quite congested in the summer. "
  • Amandabrat16
"My husband and I usually visit Lincoln City during the off season, so traffic isn’t too bad. Have never tried to access the public transportation system. Would definitely have to explore the possibilities if we were to relocate to this town."
  • Teresa C.
"lots of people most are friendly..very busy and often alot of noise. my street is a busy street but I know all my neighbors."
  • Mwchamberlain
"1.people love their dogs. 2.stores are dog friendly. 3. everyone seems to have a dog or had but love pets. have treats for dogs "
  • Tawnya F.
"when it is not during the busy season it is a great friendly quiet town to have your family live in. "
  • Mandamus01
"We are one block above Highway 101 and all of the venues and businesses are just a short block away. The local gym and senior center is three blocks to the east."
  • Mandamus01
"Plenty of room to walk without any real traffic dangers and the devils lake forest begins one block east on the other side of Oar Street where there’s a hiking path. "
  • Mandamus01
"Dog owners would like that their are many areas to walk your dog. New sidewalks that are being put in , even as I type this will make it much safer . It’s also only one and a half blocks from the beach so you can take your dog to the beach and let them run."
  • John Iwamura
"I lived in this neighborhood for 14 years. Prior I lived in Hawaii and in the Bay Area of CA. While the weather is warmer in both of those areas...the people are warmer here. Very friendly and always willing to chat or help at the drop of a hat. Rare to hear a honking horn even if you don't go the second the light turns green. It is laid back, mellow and real. Also, the raw beauty of the coast never get old, the beaches range from solo experiences to lightly used and many allow bonfires and even cars on them. The seafood is authentic fare and fresh with lots of great places to dine. I love living and working here on this amazing coast!"
  • nuyah
"its a tourist town, good parks, walking trails, and outlet mall w/ park. casino, entertainment, and lots of bars and gas stations for such a small town. wonderful view of ocean."
  • Aussieblnd
"we have fantastic beaches, cultural evens, restaurants and a casino. we have access to both a fantastic lake for kayaking, sailboats, powered and jet skis. we also have great fishing whale watching beach access. great place to visit."
  • Stephielove12
"A lot of people walk their dogs in our neighborhood, and especially bring them to the beach. We see them on Wecoma Beach. The dogs are smiling. "
  • Bonnie S.
"dogs can run on the beach without a leash...great hiking trails too! not many dog friendly places to eat but grab something and head to the water. "
  • Will M.
"beach is close, weather unpredictable, and the town is packed in summer. community is mixed bag of desperate and well to do šŸ˜€"
  • Bonnie S.
"great safe neighborhood. beautiful birds to watch! Lots of wildlife . . . we Just love the bunnies. "
  • Stan
"We come to Lincoln City to stay at our beach house. It’s 2.5 hours from home. It’s a combination of highway and country roads to get to Lincoln City."
  • Jad447
"Gated, a bit up scale, vintage Oregon Salishan ....older folks but families visit...great views, forested, lovely lodge "
  • Shelly B. C.
"We can walk to the beach, to the lake, and to many restaurants & stores, yet our home is private and peaceful. "
  • Irish
"I love the Cutler City neighborhood. It's peaceful, and everywhere in the neighborhood is a short walk to the Siletz Bay, with its great views and long stretches of sandy beach. Seems like a forgotten jewel in an otherwise long, narrow city that follows busy Hwy 101. That said, there are a couple of things I'm not as fond of about this neighborhood as I am other areas in Lincoln City. 1) It's on the bay, not the ocean. 2) Cutler City is residential, with no easy walk to any store or other amenity, and, 3) being an area with a lot of low-income homes/rentals, and pretty much out of the public eye, the safety factor doesn't seem as good as it is in other parts of town. This is NOT one of those upscale, gated communities with HOAs and their restrictions and rules about how you can live in the neighborhood, so there is less control over your neighbors, or what they're up to. Still, when we were looking to purchase a home in LC, this was a neighborhood that we had a lot of interest in. It was just pure luck that we found our dream beach home in the Oceanlake neighborhood, instead :-)."
