The teachers there are excellent but the surveillance state is out of control. There are so many cameras in the hallways, classrooms and outside that there is a constant feeling of 'big brother' watching. The teachers are also not supported regarding classroom materials and are expected to purchase their own pencils, crayons, paper and even shelves with their own money. Now, teachers are being told that more cameras are being installed. There is a campus officer who acts like a wannabe ICE agent and gives the impression that is hoping for a school shooting so he can justify his overzealous position. Despite all this security, any adult can just walk in with the kids in the morning as it is just a free for all. So, the expensive security system is actually more of a facade.
