    "This is one of the most beautiful areas on Lake Pend O'Reille and also home to the David Thompson State Wildlife Preserve, so there are A LOT of deer. There are a couple of commercial sites developed for RV/Camper hook-up as well as the Sam Owen Campground (US Forest Service) so it can get busy (but not crowded) in the summer months. The roads are well maintained and the area doesn't get as much snow as many other parts of Bonner County. Nightlife is practically nil in the winter months. A great area for those who love the outdoors and are seeking privacy."
