6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a teacher at CCMS. We care greatly about the needs of all students. This year has been one of the best years of my 24 year career in education in over ten school districts. I really hope that every year from now on is as good or even better than the one we are having now. The principals are engaged and do the best they can with the school board we have. Principals can be denied in their efforts for discipline by the school board.The counselors are top notch. I can't wait for my 7 year old to come here and meet his counselor. They will provide amazing support. Over the years they have supported ME with MY emotional needs.The teachers are awesome and ask me questions about SPED accommodations when clarfication is warranted. They actively engage all students at all times in the classroom. The community is supportive. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my high school school alma mater and I am just sickened by the way it has been allowed to fall into disrepair. I walked through the campus a few months ago and it looked like an abandoned property being left to fall into shambles. If they don't care about the morale of the students, they cannot convince me they care about the quality of their education. I can't complain about the quality of the academics because education has nationwide is in an awful state. People no longer come out of school educated in general. But this situation with Culver High is dire. The property value here in Culver City is sky high. Why does this school look worse than any low income area school in an a 100 mile radius?
