5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGHS is a school riddled with problems. Many teachers aren't sufficiently knowledgeable in the subjects they teach. Teachers are often rude and defensive when questioned. The administration is weak, disengaged and inept. There are no standard procedures for instruction, or the assignment and grading of student work. There is a culture of complacency. I received little to no communication from my children's teachers despite two of my children saying their teacher had snapped at them multiple times. My Kindergartener was very discouraged that despite her good behavior, she had received no recognition when other kids had, she is a well behaved child and despite my reaching out to the teacher, no misbehavior was reported. One of the teachers sent out an email right before the grading period ended that many of her students were failing because they hadn't turned in their classwork- too little too late and very discouraging. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis schools actually pretty chill the staff is really nice and so are the teachers! Watch out for that one teacher though….wouldnt recommend letting your kids AROUND HIM. but other than that its a good school the only issue is the bully and constant threats happening between students along with racism as a whole the school is ok the only problem is the behavior of studentsOther Review8mo ago
