About this House

Farm or Ranch for sale by owner in Saint Johns, MI 48879. TEN ACRES of country living, with an income! This is a working apple orchard and cider mill in Mid-Michigan, about half-way between Lansing and Ithaca. In addition to apple trees, we have pears, plums, prunes, peaches, nectarines, apricots, cherries, and grapes growing. Also walnuts, both black and English, and filberts (large hazelnuts). The house is 160 years old ,salt-box style, and has been thoroughly modernized. Steel shingles, vinyl siding, formal dining room, 3-season room, office, large utility room. Washer, dryer, range, dishwasher, refrigerator new in 2010. Deck new in 2011, made of composite wood for no-maintenance. Basement is half crawl space, and half regular basement. Whole-house soft water, newer high-efficiency furnace with central AC. We use wood in a wood-burner in the basement that is attached to the furnace ductwork to heat the whole house cheaply.
