3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had both of my children in this school for years and I couldnt be more happier! My daughter is in 5th grade and her teacher has really structured her and prepared her for 6th grade. He's a little strict but that's what she needed to buckle down and stay on task. All the staffs are wonderful including Mr Henderson in the past years and now Mr Spencer! My kids always looked forward to school. Now, that's statement alone!Parent Review10y ago - Sun Valley High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attends this school and was diagnosed with a learning disability. The counselor and VP were very proactive in modifying her curriculum and offering help with a 504 plan. She's adapted well and has a great support team.Parent Review4y ago - Sun Valley Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child’s first year at this school has been the absolute worst. Sun Valley Middle Schools is unethical. The 6th grade assistant principal shows favoritism to a specific group of kids. My child has been bullied since he arrived and all they do is have conversations. Definitely a lot of favoritism with certain kids and called the kids liars, they don’t believe certain kids even issues arise. The AP uses certain words on write ups to describe a kid she dislike. Sun Valley Middle has a lot of turn overs yearly in leadership. More males should be in the school more in leadership. When bringing concerns to the principal she is no better all she states is I heard your words. Wow!!! A lot of parents are not bringing their students back and I see why because they’re no sense of direction. The leader lie and cover up for the AP’s instead of ensuring they are treating all kids the same. However, Sun Valley Middle school grades are lower too because they are to focused on punishing a certain group of kids. The kids don’t even fee comfortable bringing their concerns to them. The leaders here a huge joke. Downtown should come out and visit more and not only talk to leaders do a poll where parents and kids can have input if they like Sun Valley and what improvements can be done.
