6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter was attending another school previously where she was getting bullied and it was not being handled in a way that made her comfortable to go to school. She didn't want to go to school anymore or do any of the work. We moved to a neighborhood near Hart elementary and this school was assigned to her since our address changed. Since going to Hart she has been more motivated to go to school and anyone who seems to bother her even a little is addressed right away. The teachers communicate right away when I bring something up and address any concerns I have. This school is great! It reminds me of when I was growing up and schools were safer and more communicative when things happened. My daughter is so much more happier being at this school than her previous school and I am happy with how Hart's staff handle things.Parent Review4mo ago - Stockdale High School

"Friendly, family oriented neighborhood. Our family has lived in this neighborhood for over 5 years. We love it. I love this area. Everything is nearby as far as groceries and shopping goes. Schools are great! Our neighbors have also always been amazing. We all look out for one another. "

"There are HOA Events constantly being held, for every holiday for example. There's Bunco nights, dancing, and BBQ's held at the Club Houses. It's a great Community!"

"We've lived in Haggin Oaks for a few years and we love it. We can walk to the Marketplace in 10 minutes for dinner, shopping, ice cream, or a movie. We have two very nice parks even closer than that, and our kids walk to the neighborhood elementary school (McAuliffe). The neighborhood is very friendly, and really comes together at Halloween and Christmas, when people come from other parts of town to enjoy the festive decorations. There's no other neighborhood in Bakersfield we would rather live in."

"I am fortunate to live here. the neighbors are wonderful, the quiet of the neighborhood is lovely, having the school across the street means a wide street and lots of room. good walking with my dogs, a park within walking distance, shopping, good restaurants and movie theaters within a mile at the MarketPlace. Whats not to like. incredible ease of living."
