Room Description

We're looking for 1 person to live with and share an awesome house in a great neighborhood. Looking for a roommate who is mature, responsible, respectful, clean, and relaxed. Roommates in the past have typically fallen between the ages of 25-40 years old, guys or gals. Happy to provide references from current, and/or former roommates...both guys and gals.

Looking for the right fit for this 4 Bed, 3 Bath home located in Wheat Ridge, very close to Edgewater and Western Highlands. Minutes to I-70, a quick 5-10 min ride to LoDo, and on the Western edge of the Highlands.

The home: Solar-Powered with battery back-up provides fixed electric bill and security for power outages. The living rooms and kitchen are completely furnished. Plenty of street parking, you'll never have an issue finding a spot. Fenced in backyard with patio furniture and grill...great for BBQ's. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 living rooms and a good size kitchen. The basement has 2 larger bedrooms, 1 of which is available to rent. Lots of storage space in the garages (there's 2) for toys.

We're Looking for a roommate who is clean in the common areas, who doesn't smoke tobacco, cleans their own dishes, simple garbage/recycling, keeps the kitchen clean. Hoping to find a respectful, working professional who is ready to live with people who wouldn't ask for the above if they didn't have the same respect.

If you have a significant other they are more than welcome to crash here as long as they are cool, and they're not over more than 50% of the time. This is a laid back home and want to keep it laid back...not a party house, but friends are always welcome to visit.

No cigarette smoking...420 friendly.

Roommate #1/Owner: Male, 43 yrs old. I'm passionate about my career in sustainable energy and electric vehicles. Works from home half the time. On a given day I can be found snowboarding, in a yoga pose, scaling a wall, on my motorcycle in the mountains, hiking, camping, tubing down a river, or at a local taco joint. Midwestern boy from Minnesota, go Twins!

Roommate #2: A 24 year old professional environmental engineer working in water/wastewater. I occasionally work from home. I am from Louisiana (GEAUX Tigers!) but spent the last few years in Cleveland (Let 'em Know!). I love hiking, crafting, and reading. The last book I read was Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall-Kimmerer.

Lot's more obviously, but if you think you might be the right fit please drop us a line, and tell us a bit about yourself, we'd love to hear from you.

PLEASE INCLUDE A LINK TO YOUR FACEBOOK OR INSTAGRAM profile so we can stalk you...just kidding, but seriously. We'll provide links too.

Downstairs Room: Available April 1st, 6' 6" ceiling height, walk-in closet, stays nice and cool during the summer months...kept around 60 degrees in Winter. The room is 10'x14'

Utilities NOT included in rent... (electricity/gas, internet, trash, water)...the home is solar powered w/storage which keeps electric fixed
Deposit = 1 month's rent and we use Venmo to sort out the balances with one another.

No pets please

Looking for a 9 month lease to start, then a year to year after.

"I don’t go downtown very often. The traffic in Colorado in general has gotten unbearable at times in comparison to the traffic as it was a few years ago and seems to be getting worse and worse every year. "
  • 6drzrtxyw9
"Lots of traffic on Kipling during rush hour. But early morning isn’t so bad. Fast to get to downtown and to the mountains. Highway is easily accessible "
  • Melanie Lunsford

"Nearby parks, friendly neighbors, lots of dog owners, and mostly good weather. There are no gated neighborhoods nearby, so we can freely walk the dog through a variety of interesting neighborhoods and visit several pocket parks. There are also a couple vet hospitals and several veterinary doctors practicing near us. There are also some really cool pet shops with dog food, treats, and toys for purchase."
  • Vrbaranowski
"The history of the area, as mostly Truck farms, is celebrated as local urban farms and many people turning their yards into food producing gardens. you can relax in your yard and hear chickens, horses walking along the streets and the soft hum of the highway."
  • Lemon.shannon
