They were members of the pioneer Larson family who immigrated from Norway in 1860 and who Larsen Valley Road is named after. School has declined substantially over our many years here. We have had several outstanding teachers over the years but they all seem to be leaving. Never ending drama is the main thing now. Cannot seem to keep an “acceptable” principal, one group or another keeps running them off. No one is in charge anymore. My kids have been upset with the lack of continuity. We are looking into switching schools for our last few elementary years, what a shame!

"It’s a family neighborhood! There are lots of parents and children! A block party happens yearly. Most people love the area , traffic is hard during Apple hill time . "

"There is simply NO season that is not a beautiful season in Camino. The community is home to hundreds of farms, orchards, and wineries, making the entire year a place to behold scenes of growing and harvesting. More, the community is also lovingly referred to as "Apple Hill" because the harvest season from September through Christmas time make it a fantastic day trip for families and friends to come and wander through orchards, sample baked goods, eat at local BBQs and festivals, and pick their own fruit and vegetables. The weather is perfect because the elevation is not too low and not too high: cooler in summer, and warmer in winter, yet with even a hint of snow for the winter season. Who couldn't resist Camino, Ca?"
