"I see pups time after time, not too much, people have large backyards that are fenced in and you can see them run around! Pets are like babies here they are well taken care of here "
  • Sry5gswkqg
"Poor access to public an transport but close by car with minimal to moderate traffic. Almost all regular rush hour traffic will be on Route 61, which mostly subsides once you get past Leesport"
  • Clsz
"Dog walking or any sort of pedestrian activity is terrible. Sidewalks are unreliable on come and go, roads are high speed and busy, drivers don’t care about anything. Coyotes and such are also a danger at night. There are a few parks to go to though."
  • Sry5gswkqg
"20-30 min access to Reading, traffic on Route 61 is fine, just you may have to step at a few stoplights . 45 minutes to one hour commute to Allentown, traffic in Allentown on 22 can get rough, although getting to Allentown is fine, except there may be some reckless driving on some c of the backroads, especially Shartlesville Road.Around an hour commute to Harrisburg, same story on 22/78. Lancaster commutes is around an hour, 222 traffic can get shaky through Wyomissing to Reading but it’s a breeze from there. Lack of transit to Philadelphia, heavy traffic, and long distance majors a commute to Philadelphia generally not worth it."
  • Bnikkid
"I grew up in the neighborhood and decided to buy a house a mile away from my childhood home so my family could grow up with the same experiences I did. The breathtaking views, the peace and quiet, the open space... our neighborhood in particular is very welcoming with a lot of children who spend time together, many families taking walks with their dogs, well kept yards. Very happy here with no plans on leaving!"
  • Joe a. A. Y.
"Annual festivities among a village of united members. All committed to a more simple way of living the country life."
  • Donna R.
"This area is superb for raising children. The township is an agricultural one. There is a 10 acre requirement to build a home so the potential for developments is low. Schools are great. The area is close enough for all activities and yet country atmosphere! "
  • Bnikkid
"Have grown up in this area. There may not be much to do locally and within walking distance (wish there was a local park or pool for children), but multiple shopping areas are within an easy 10-15 minute drive- I guess it is the price you pay for living in a beautiful, peaceful, rural home. Spectacular views of the countryside- farms & the Appalachian Mountains. Safe area for children & pets. Great school. Our community is safe, clean and kid friendly."
  • Victoria A.
"lovely area, live here. Neighbors are so helpful and caring. Min to stores /malls and major hwys. Best of both worlds. Beautiful area Clean , safe, quiet, gorgeous views. In winter they do roads immediately when it snows.. awesome!!"
  • Arvid C.
"What a beautiful place to live. The community is gorgeous, well-maintained, friendly... a perfect place to raise a family. Penn-Bernville is as close to one on one teaching as you will find. It is a bit far from Wyomissing, but in 15 minutes you will have your Grocery, Target, Home Depot, Movies, etc..."
