"A few streets and areas are nice. But, since they legalized marijuana, a lot of gangsters have taken the area and it's gone down hill over the years. Loud music, fights, street races, assaults, and marijuana smells as you go fir a walk. I am moving and can't wait!! As for dogs, plenty of these drug dealers leave their pit bulls loose. "
  • Trulia User
"They would like the neighborhood if they don't like picking up after their dog because no one picks up after their dog and it's very common for dog owners to leave their dogs loose to go do poo in other peoples property. They won't like the area if they don't like the odds of their dog getting attacked by a pitbull that many of these marijuana users let loose in the streets. "
  • Trulia User
"Halloween, pot lucks, movie night with kids and family night, community neighborhood watch, summer activities for the kids "
  • Jalvarez01129
"On Boston road, everything is in a line. from the mall to grocery stores, gas station, pharmacy and so on. The buses run all the time, and because the area is very low income, many people don't have cars. Also, theirs a lot of marijuana use and many people I have spoken to have lost their license from substance use. "
  • Jorge
"It's an area full of serious marijuana users and have seen a lot of drug dealing activity. Also heavy with low income families and out of control kids and teenagers. You hear police sirens all the time. If you are an educated person, don't use drugs or find the gangster lifestyle appealing, don't move your family in this area or any other part of Springfield for that matter! "
  • Jalvarez01129
"Nothing really. No where safe to take a walk with ones dog and nothing but marijuana smell as you walk around the area. And as of 2020, a lot of gangs from out of state have moved in. "
  • Isneiry B.
"I believe everything is good in Boston Road. Do what’s right and everything will remain the same. Thanks! "
  • Trulia User
"very pet friendly, people alway walking there dogs along the sidewalks people are very friendly some are annoying others just mind there business. "
  • Honda2700
"The neighborhood has plenty of sidewalks and there is also easy access to the city parks to walk dogs."
  • 413resident
"Easy access to public transportation and close proximity to the Massachusetts turnpike and interstate 91. "
  • Cassandra
"You see people walking their dogs all the time, what I like the best about good neighbors is that they curb their dogs after they go to the bathroom and that’s a Respectful neighbors... Thank You...."
  • Llynnm2000
"neighbors are friendly. area is very quiet. houses are taken care of and lawns are nice. school bus stop is at the end of the road. the Chinese restaurant is delicious (609 homwin)"
  • Doreencook5959
"It's quiet most of the time. I think it's family friendly. My neighbors are not to neighborly. I like that you can feel pretty safe taking a walk. There are restaurants and stores close by."
