About this House
As artists and builders, we created this unique lower level space for ourselves. (We live upstairs.) This furnished apartment is part of a remodeled 1928 Arts and Crafts bungalow with a private entrance, plus a full kitchen and bathroom. After many years of AirBnB rentals, this year we repainted, upgraded and now rent longer term! The space is ideal for singles or couple. We love calling this area home, where we easily walk to "downtown" West Asheville. The location is ideal, we are right off of Haywood Rd. The walking, transportation and biking Zillow scores could really more accurately be 90-100! This hip part of town has much to offer: nightlife, music, public transportation (multiple buses), restaurants, coffee shops, brewpubs, a teahouse, and much more. Plus, downtown Asheville is less than a 10 minute drive!
Lease duration: 3 month, 6 month or one year. Owner pays for all utilities, including WIFI. There is an application with a credit check and references. Tenant is responsible for cleaning their space. No outside (yard) maintenence is required. This is a no smoking no pet house. Although we love dogs, future tenants may be affected. Parking is on the street, a short walk up the driveway, but you may use the driveway for groceries, etc. (to be discussed.) Renters Insurance is not required (optional), but always a good idea.
