"Convenient to main thoroughfares such as Rt 116 , Rt 9 and the bus’ route. Lots of little neighborhoods and space for walking and biking. Shopping & dining options within 2 miles. "

"Quietly, no loud or anything bad has happened so this is a good neighborhood and I would love to live here "
  • CMR
"My commute to work is straight down Rt 9. Ten minutes, if that. I live here out of convenience. Neighborhood is college students on all sides. Not the most desirable neighbors. "
  • Lilyerobin
"Large population of college students so some neighborhoods may have party houses or just a large portion of seasonal residents "
  • Jjstarr121
"Downtown events like farmers market and block parties. Lots of people walking and tiny hiking path shortcuts. "
  • Gdelrey
"I am not a dog owner. Good places to walk dogs. I am not a dog owner. Good places to walk dogs. I am not a dog owner. Good places to walk dogs. "
  • Kenneth T. J.
"I drive but I know a lot of people around the area who take the bus which runs pretty decent. But a lot of things are outside of town if not 15-30 minutes away. "
  • Amy
"It's a neighborhood but it's semi-rural. People live here a long time. Beautiful views. A short walk to public library. Robert Frost Trail right here. Bike trail nearby."
  • M
"Big college town so families, beware!! Lots of amazing food places like El comalito, Webster’s fish hook (over the bridge), limered."
  • Kenneth T. J.
"Very much a college town that has a lot of families that are also living within the time. The schools are great. But there are no commercial business ie mchdonalds, Burger King, no grocery store either. But they are some the next town over. "
  • Kenneth T. J.
"We have UMass in the area which host a lot of events, college sports, plays, concerts and more. Very diverse area and very quite. "
  • Joybb2012
"I live here for five years and feel quiet and peaceful. Good place for children developing. The bus is free most of the time."
  • tfreedma
"Dead end neighborhood great for kids. Abuts conservation land with a pond. "
  • Pandia
"A quiet, private location great for kids and pets, and parents who want their kids to go out and play. Abuts (9th?) fairway and hole of Hickory Ridge CC (XC skiing out your back door). Look for wild chives, turtles, muskrats and garter snakes along banks of Plum Brook, which winds through north section of property. Most of soil on property has high clay content. Originally had (perhaps still has?) a working fireplace in the half-cellar (an underground spring precluded a full cellar). Lots of space in attic. Hallway in the bedroom 'wing' was long and wide - perfect for games like Mother-May-I, RedLight/ GreenLight, and Walk the Walls. Short walk to Mission Cantina, Moan & Dove, PVTA stop, gym, and Pre-through-6 schools. A snowplow, chainsaw and ride-on lawnmower are highly recommended. "
