Safe neighborhood with great neighbors and great schools.

Construction: This house is situated on poured concrete, steel reinforced piers ground level with plenty of headroom downstairs. The building plans rated the house to withstand 120 MPH winds. Second and 3rd Stories are 2x6 wood frame.

Downside of the As-Is
There are some things that need repair: Some trim and moldings, painting, an exterior hood vent, upper deck section of screen and general maintenance items. While there is plenty of parking which is rare on the beach, only compact cars can be parked in the garage. Downstairs needs a good cleaning. Entry in foyer 5'x9' needs new wood which I have. I just haven't gotten around to replacing. Some drywall repairs. Nothing structural. An elevator SHAFT is present with spiral stairs and an elevator can be installed if important to the buyer. No nautical decor is being included except for the 91/2' Hammerhead in the livingroom and what is permanently fixed to the walls or building.

To answer why the house is listed for a good amount of time on Zillow with no sale? I am not in a rush to sell. I have turned down several offers. This house has no real comps. It is unique. It is quite intimidating from a maintenance standpoint due to its sheer size.

I've resided in Hernando Beach for 44 years. The beach is considered "Hernando's Hidden Treasure". It is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico on the west and surrounded by an 11K acre Weeki Wachee Preserve with hiking trails on the east. Great restaurants and live music abounds within walking distance.
