About this House

This two story ranch house sits on the crown of 10 acres at approx 1675 feet elevation. The views from the North side of the house stretch into Kern and Monterey counties. The North side of the house also has a 20ft high pergola with 4 varieties of mature vines (table grapes, seedless and seeded), a mature olive tree, wild artichokes and a mature lemon tree. All produce in season. On the South side of the home (front of house) a 500 sq ft redwood deck was built one year ago, great for watching the sunset. Garage is a 3 car, right side is tandem, left side is a single bay. A large truck will fit in the tandem slot (height & length). Driveway is gravel. Property is fed by a 700' deep well with 5 thousand gallons of storage. Electricity is provided by a 10KW Tesla array grid tied to PG&E.

Downstairs has a tile floor (great for warm summer days) a full bath, black granite countertops, an island, new stainless fridge, and water filtration under the sink. There's a bedroom downstairs, it's carpeted, with a view South out over the front deck. There is an upright piano that stays with the house. It sits in an alcove in the formal living room off the downstairs bathroom.

Upstairs, oak stairs & railing with carpet strip in the middle for anti-slip. The top banister pole is wrapped in white rope for the cats. The entire upstairs is carpet save the two bathrooms which are tile. Laundry room with washer and dryer are also upstairs. There is a great room at the top of the stairs with two large closets flanking the room. There is an additional storage space off the great room on the North side. Two normal bedrooms with an adjacent bathroom. Master bedroom has the best views to the North and East, soaking tub with corner windows facing those fabulous views. Double sink and shower.

Renter is responsible for electricity (Tesla account) and propane; owner provides water (private well), septic, internet and trash services, see lease. Cats and dogs welcome with a $500 refundable pet deposit plus $50/month pet rent for 1-2 pets. No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. Renter's insurance required. 12-month lease.

"Generally speaking, dogs are frowned upon and often disguised as cats in some neighborhoods on the east side of town where they enforce the rule."
  • Dena S.
"We have ample transportation here in this neighborhood especially the local Paso express and the Arta bus!!"
  • aGregg
"No dogs are allowed in the park except your dog. If it's your dog, it's fine. They should be kept on leash if necessary and always closely watched and cleaned up after them. Pro Tips: if your dog is not comfortable around children or other dogs, keep them on leash. The signs really say no dogs but it's not enforced and everyone clearly likes it that way."
  • Tracyskarma
"Everybody is very friendly and they look out for each other.. Nice parks nearby and also a excellent Mexican food & margarita restaurant."
  • Kai M. .
"It’s homey, peaceful some might say a perfect little place to raise a family. The weather is nice and warm, and it’s close to the beach. "

"Great town. I feel safe here. Low crime rate. Community police officers help with disputes. People are friendly. Great school District."

  • Drew A. L. C.
"Nice, quiet community. We trust our neighbors and there is no crime. This is the cheapest place to live in Paso Robles, with an acre of land."
  • Khldoc
"Close knit safe friendly place to live.Living on the cul-de-sac makes it seem like a tiny neighborhood. Very quiet."

"we are a tight knit community who sticks together. There are numerous wine events, and concerts in the park. "
  • Tarap
"People walk their dogs all the time. Many clean up after their dogs, but not as much in neighborhoods with elderly people. Paso is a very dog friendly town."
  • Drew And Lisa Cook
