"I dunno. I just moved here but lots of doggos and their parents. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone considering moving here :) "
  • Mlewis_10
"Community College in New Haven has been closed since April and the district was shut down in the spring of last time due to a fire and a tornado outbreak that destroyed a school the district said was caused the school has no "
  • Rphtdb
"Dangerous area. Many people living on street with debilitating drug and alcohol problems. Area is congested and dirty. There’s a lot of crime in the area. Used to be a nice part of SD. I owned a home and loved living in Point Loma for decades. I moved north a few years ago. Did not want to raise my daughter in this environment. "
  • Trulia User
"beautiful landscape but no privacy due to homes close proximity. lots of paths and green areas for walking ur dog and lots of dogs being walked all times day or night."
  • Trulia User
"It’s mostly fine.I leave early so no traffic. On the way back is not that bad.A little traffic if you get to Rosecrans around 7 pm but totally normal."
  • Trulia User
"no areas to walk your dog .. people who do have dogs in this area are irresponsible and don't particularly xare about picking up after their pets"
  • Trulia User
"Good commute from one area to the next. Safe place to walk around in once you’re in the neighborhood. "
  • John R.
"Schools and parks , beach , stores , shopping malls and a lot of attractions nice place to grow kids lot to do . "
  • Araujo.nathalia03
"Safe place and quiet for families and couples. No party houses around or drunk people. Have a lot things to do around, parks , good weather. "
  • Bblzehnder
"Lots of homeless people, so not an area for kids to play unattended. High theft and crime on some streets."
  • Beltron F.
"The parks are great for dogs to play, run, and socialize with other dogs and owners. Sometimes people don’t pick up after their dogs though. "
  • Armando
"don't use .. don't know , so if the public system is good or bad I don't know but seems to me one sees plenty of busses and trolley cars zipping around"
  • Lauren B.
"it's a good family oriented enviornment. lots of things to do near by. safe for all who live here. the beach is close and there are public schools close by as well."
  • Shawna S.
"We’ve lived here for 2 years its really conveniently located to everything you need food restaurants, shopping freeways "
  • Robert L.
"I drive my car because there isn’t a positive establishment of well maintained public transportation. If it were like Germany, I would happily take public transportation around town."
  • Mtl.pfizzy
"Close to Liberty Station, close to airport, close to arena watching hockey or other games, good walking and bike path along the harbor. Close to Cabrillo monument and Sunset Cliffs. I love this area but houses here were all way too expensive i am only renting at Lincoln Military Housing PT Loma area. "
  • Mtl.PFox
"Area is nice and close to everything within less than 10-15 mins drive. Only thing is very expensive rent. But the location is the icing on the cake."
  • Cryscarlos918
"Just visiting. But a lot of restaurants stores and fast food just walking distance! Not sure how the commute is to jobs due to just being a visitor "
  • Orr87
"The accessibility to all the stores and location is awesome. Everything is walking distance. The negative parking is very hard and I mean driving/eating 20-40min for someone to leave. Also a lot of homeless people drinking and sleeping on the street and at times feces on sidewalks. Overall I wouldn’t live here, I’m just finishing my lease and moving my family and I out of this area. "
  • Tara P.
"I don’t really live here. Just subletting a townhouse but the area is full of bars l, restaurants, schools and parks. "
  • Inoan28
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 8 years. love it. everything is close to home. lots of entertainment. "
  • James W.
"the liberty station and nex are convenient for shopping and fun activities are easily accessible. the parks are well maintaned and kept in a highly presentable manner "
  • Carolyn Y.
"I've lived here for 11 years and will never leave. It is a Wonderful place to live because you can walk to everything and you really get to know your neighbors here. I have always felt very safe. There are so many things to do here, that there is hardly any reasons to leave Liberty Station. Love It!"
  • Docholiday49127
"I worked in the Navy here for five-years. My wife and I started our family in this townhome. We were 5-minutes from Ocean Beach, 5-minutes from downtown San Diego, and about a mile from Sea World. Access to the primary interstates (5 & 8) were both within a half mile. We were close enough to the ocean to maintain a nice 70's temperature even on hotter days for most of the area. The neighborhood pool, spa, and barbecue area was great for personal and party entertainment. It also has a nice kid playground area that is safe for the little ones. Very enjoyable area and we couldn't have asked for a better location to live in San Diego. Traffic in the area can be tough, but our commutes to work were easy with minimal time required on the interstates. We are currently renting this place and may be selling or leasing to others around the October time-frame."
