This is a 1930's Sears, Roebuck model "The Lynnhaven" mail order home. In 1929, Sears had a home sales office at 385 Broadway in Lorain. This English-style bungalow home was purchased as a kit, delivered to the B&O railroad depot in Lorain and then constructed in 1930 in Elyria. Although extensively remodeled and modernized, this home retains the charm of the original plan. The Lynnhaven model sold "cut and fitted" in 1929 for $2425.00 plus options.
