Former student here, this school is mediocre at best, most peers are disrespectful and violent, especially with what I’ve seen in the Beginning Band classes. There are fights almost bi-daily, teachers are alright, some are good, some are horrendous. Bullying is prominent and most staff won’t do much about besides a slap on a wrist and detention. Trust me, that doesn’t stop it.

I wanted to share a more recent experience than previous reviews. The front office staff is very amicable and caring. The administrators listen to concerns. But the problems are the teachers and some other staff. They are the type who feel that because they have many years of experience, there is no room for them to improve. Honestly, this is a bigger issue of CA public schools. If you are okay with your child being threatened of being kicked out of the classroom, simply for talking, if you are okay with cafeteria aids using snarky comments and yelling at kids instead of actually assisting when something is needed. If you are okay with teachers who sit on high thrones but barely communicate with you about your child's progress, then this is the school for you. If you are an active parent who seeks teacher models of what good citizenship looks like, then run.

I would rate this School a good 10 because the teacher is really patient the students never get into fights and they have many kinds of different sports
