Everything is great especially the teacher, student.

We have been at this school for 3 years. In December 2025, Plover Whiting was relieved to be the highest performing and most improved school in the district according to the 2023-24 state testing. The teacher are kind and responsive. The staff responded to reports of bullying and safety issues and now have systems in place to help teach empathy, respect, and kindness. There are issues like with any school, but the staff care enough to actually help students improve - both academically and socially.

AlumniI went to SPASH and really enjoyed my time there. Starting school as a Sophmore I was very dedicated and received lots of attention from the teachers. I felt engaged in the programs and had lots of opportunities to learn. However, when I lost interest in school I began to be ignored by most teachers. Looking back on my years there I feel this is not ideal but understandable. I should say that even at my worst there were one or two teachers who really cared and believed in me. These teachers are at SPASH. There are excellent teachers in almost every department, however there are also some pretty bad ones as well. McAdams, the school's football coach, was particularly atrocious. Overall a good school with lots of options but you get out what you put in at SPASH.
