"Built our home about 6 years ago, elementary school is great, middle and high school are getting better. Neighborhood is pretty quiet and starting to blossom with neighbors having children. Great area to start a family. "
  • Steven.funk
"Neighbors are fairly close knit and look out for each other. Halloween trick or treating is safe. Weekly local farmers market. Local dog park and event centers "

  • Linda Devries
"You can get to anywhere in Victoria in 15 minutes. My only complaint is construction re-routing us for years on end. "
  • Sky Wings
"All like walking there dogs here, lots of friendly neighbors, walking distance to walking trails, most are home owners."
  • Jewel
"It’s decent. The neighbors are nice but we all usually keep to ourselves. The community has a large area where the kids can play. I’ve been here 3 years now."
  • Anita D.
"Nice place to walk your dogs. Very shaded and sidewalks everywhere. Love this neighborhood. Would really like to have a fenced yard though"

  • Angelita C. M.
"this neighborhood is very busy with traffic, people are walking the sidewalks or driving the streets crazy busy"
  • Wayne D. G.
"They would love it because everyone around here loves dogs, and all animals. What they wouldn't like is a lot of people just let their animals loose all day."
  • Tanya72logan

  • Rosemary R.
"Good neighborhoods. I’m not a fan of the school district at the elementary level. Lots of family friendly events and activities for the public. "

"Very small community creating easy commute anywhere basically. That’s all I have to say. Stay safe out there."
  • Yolanda J.
"I never said it’s unique. The home are very old down the street are apartments that are vey drug infested went from hardly any traffic on the road to very high traffic and people speeding down the road. And since Harvey they have increased every thing so it’s hats to live."
  • Murman G.
"Everyone is friendly and most drivers slow down when they see you walking around the division with your dogs."
  • Aprilsshop.ah
"Boot fest,Christmas Parades, county fairs . There are graveyard tours at Halloween and nice parks as well. There is a great sense of community."
  • Seanuvan
"Roaving packs of dogs in the trailer park, I have no desire at all to be outside in my neighborhood... Contrary to the way the app refers to Victoria as a neighborhood, it's not... 60,000 plus people live here, and some parts are nice, just not Shady Oaks trailer park."
  • Seanuvan
"there are free range dog packs. The rural portion of the county has too many dogs running free, and no one seems to care."
  • Bertharubio327
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 11+ year,.an area known for heavy foot traffic, stray cats & dogs, occasional police calls & speeding vehicles that do not stop at the busy intersection near our home. This is a neighborhood where knowing your neighbor is best way to live, feel, & be comfortable in this area. "
  • Resident
"I live in a rural area in Victoria that is close to town but outside the city. Quiet peaceful area. "
  • Jo L. O.

  • Paul S.
"Better to use a car. Not much traffic. Easy to find shopping locations. Small town living in a large town with many of the amenities of a large town. Good place to raise a family. Excellent educational opportunities."
  • Roxanne R.
"Parents need to know that there are Children walking around in the Sidewalks and drivers need to slow down "
  • Roxanne R.

  • Charles.happel
"Neighborhood is well established- watch group online to communicate any events. Secure and friendly."
  • Mckenzy N.
"My neighborhood is PERFECT! In my opinion I live in the BEST location in Victoria. I love my neighbors, I live in rock skipping distance to the mall, Walmart, target, Ethel lee Tracy park, Cinemark, etc. yet we don’t feel that we’re in the middle of all the rustle and bustle of traffic. We’re still tucked away. No crime I’m ever aware of and it’s always quiet and peaceful at night. Even being so close to everything."
