What Locals Say about Keansburg

  • Trulia User
"Haven't found any. To honest there is heavy alcohol and drug use in the area. The rent is expensive and rentals are poorly keep. Summer traffic is horrible. "

"Beaches are well maintained, the recreation department is very involved with the town, they have great events. There are a lot of strays, but just keep to yourself. It’s a intimate small town "

"There are many Families in this neighborhood. Keansburg is really getting better it used to be pretty bad at times but now it's pick g up. the houses are beautiful..the schools and police department are beautiful. if there's a few streets that are small and not maintained, due to ppl living like uncaring and not clean, that will change in the next year maybe less. the rents are so high they can't afford to live here. The dog walking mess.has cleaned up immensely where I live. thank God. I walk my dog..good luck to all. "

"Nice area, fairly quiet, parking can sometimes be a hassle especially during 4th of july. Other than that, close access to the Keansburg amusement park and the beach, lots of bike paths to ride on nearby. Not a far drive from the ferry access to NYC, also not a far drive from Atlantic Highlands or Sandy Hook. Right on the Raritan bay, nice views of Brooklyn from the beach."
