My daughter is in 7th grade here. she is a smart beautiful girl with a polite and generous attitude and for those reasons alone she is bullied on a regular basis. a few years ago everyone blamed tv for the change in behavior of kid, not me. i say parents and schools need to crack down harder on school bullies and actually put a stop to it before its too late. i see the way some parents are raising their kids and how can we expect our kids to be better if the parents are not doing their job.

Eastwood Elementary is located in a working class town, so the test scores may not be the best. The teachers who work there are exemplary though and many of them have master's degree in elementary education. Those that don't have an MA have 20-30 years of teaching experience. The principal, Matt Stimac, is dedicated and involved in the local community. The only problem I have with the area is that I wish there was more ethnic diversity.

Both of my children have attended this school. now they both have different issues the oldest who has graduated already has aspergers disorder (a form of Autisum) and my other child has ADHD now they both required extra time and help to get their work done but most teachers and staff ignore that and therefore my children did not do as well as they should have. This school requires 30 to 40 community service hours in order to graduated now there nothing wrong with doing community service but it is something you do out of the kindness of your heart or a punishment to pay fine . I really don't see what community service has to do with graduating high school
