    "I live on the lake (center lk.)The folks are friendly for the most part, BUT if i would have done my research better than i did, I can honestly say I would of never moved in this area.The area is certainly An older community,referring to the homes in Leoni twp.as well Michigan center.PROPERTY TAXES are not in line with home values,and Leoni twp.does not have there own full time fire or police dept.,which means,i would hope that my home does not catch on fire or my home as well does not need police for any type of emergency.(I maybe waiting a long time for a responce)and hope some will show up.Had i of known that alone,I would of never of purchased.It has caused my home owners insurance to be much higher because of that.SHAME ON ME! O well,lesson well learned.There is no doubt that the part-time police and fire dept are doing the best they can to protect us but they cannot perform micrles.We need a full time police and fire depts.back. Mr.Supervisior please CLOSE or cut something else out, Not our boys in BLUE or FIRE DEPT.I strongly suggest anyone considering the move here,first check with the our supervisor to see his responce.The township hall employees are and have been (so far )wonderful to deal with,as well council board.(EXTREMELY TOUGH POSITION TO BE IN AND HAVE)."
