3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA beautiful school in a beautiful setting! Has a very good principal and parents who are proud of their school. For an elementary school, it can't be beat in the Jackson, Michigan area. Some great teachers teach there, too.Other Review11y ago

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a fantastic school! The person who complained about a male principal in 2011 was obviously confused! We haven't had a male principal since 2008! Our kids are getting a great education. The teachers and principal are all working hard to get the student's needs met. The teachers routinely come to evening events they are not paid to attend without complaining and are always helpful with PTA and parent programs.Parent Review8y ago

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrost Elementary: We moved to the area last year and I enrolled all three of my kids in the school, I didn't get a chance to actually get the sense for the school with them only being in it for two months before the school year ended. With this year I have noticed that the school does not do very well at contacting the parents before the kids are placed into detention or I.S.T as they call it but I know it as I.S.S. And they do not do a very good job about stopping the bullying. I had numerous complaints from my fifth grader that he was being teased and picked on by one particular kid while no one at the school really handled it. The few times I stopped by and joined my children at lunch I quickly realized why they are starving when they get home. The poor choices and helping size for what they call a balanced lunch was very disappointing. I had finally found a teacher that agreed with me and helped me get help for my fifth grader and kept in contact with me all the time with how my child was doing in school. I did notice that my very smart second grader was slipping behind in school. I feel that the school as a whole could've done much better. I am not highly impressedParent Review8y ago

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal doesn't have a very good grip on the bullying issues or his special education requirements. This is just another job to him. He's nice but the school needs a better leader. They just want to push kids through and do nothing about bullying. The building has some great teachers but most the staff is the reason why the school is so bad. All this is allowed by the principal, Mr. Eric Kelly. Our son's education has regressed at the point he entered this building. They give us nothing to work on at home. He gets tons of 1's but they say he's doing great and gets his grade level work. This is unexceptable. We are most likely going back to homeschooling.... where he progressed and didn't get bullied and punched in the nose.Other Review4y ago

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is very unprofessional in every way.from the staff to the principal there is no communication whatsoever. if something happens to your child or if they get into trouble they never let you know anything. they are more into disciplinary actions than anything.. The Prince of all is nothing but a gossip queen. And they all lie and stick up for one another your child is always the one that is never believed in any incident. they have let my son fall and hit his head on the cement they have not fed my son for a whole week there is a lot of things that they did to my child I should have got a lawyer.I could go on and on all I can say is a very unsafe unhappy staff and principal I would never recommend this schoolParent Review6y ago

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageParent and former student. Napoleon schools are far superior to most of Jackson county's public schools and still at the bar when compared to private schools. Great teaching staff great environment all around a wonderful place for your children to succeed .Parent Review6y ago
