Room Description
I have 2 rooms upstairs to rent out. The house is in a great location with about a 10 minute walk to campus and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store and bank. A tenant would live and share spaces and amenities with two other roommates while my girlfriend and I live in a separate add-on. The tenant's section has two bathrooms, one upstairs (where the tenant's rooms are) and one downstairs next to the kitchen. The bathrooms are small but they both have a toilet, sink, and bathtub. The upstairs bathroom has a shower while the downstairs one just has a bath. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs total and one of them is currently being rented. The rooms themselves are pretty small but definitely big enough for one person. I've decided to reduce the price of one room to $350 a month instead of $400, because it lacks an AC and heat vent. This makes it less comfortable during the hottest and coldest months. However, the same room has a storage area through a little door that has quite a lot of room. The other room has a vent and drawers built into the wall for plenty of storage. Both rooms have a small closet as well. Neither room has a box spring, mattress or chest of drawers so tenants would have to bring said items as needed. The first 4 pictures are of the $400 a month bedroom and the other pictures of bedroom are for the $350 a month room. Downstairs is the kitchen, living room and one of the bathrooms. The kitchen itself is a large room but the cooking area is normal. It comes with all the cookware needed as well as a large fridge and table. The living room is also large and has 3 big windows looking out to the street. It includes 3 couches and a small TV. Although, if the tenant would prefer to bring their own couch and TV, we can easily move one of the couches and current TV to storage. The basement has good storage capabilities and has the shared washer and dryer down there. The front and back yard are decently large and the driveway has plenty of room to not deal with parking problems often. There is also space for two cars in the garage. I have a dog and cat so I wouldn't recommend this place for someone with pet hair allergies. I wouldn't mind a tennant bringing a dog or cat but it has to get along with my dog and cat. I also own chickens for eggs in the backyard. I have everyone living at the house split utilities evenly every month. Rent and utilities are due by the 10th of every month. I take cash, venmo and checks. If you have any questions, feel free to call or text me.
I believe I outlined everything in my inital description but the only other thing is smoking. I don't mind if you smoke but it must be done outside.
