I am a past student of Helena elementary the school it self is wonderful but certain teachers/subs may not be the best fit in my time at Helena I had three teachers hit me one being a sub the others being permanent staff members. When I reported this to the principal I was told that I should get to know them and it wasn't serious enough to check the camera footage. I'm not saying you shouldn't send your kids here but if they tell you something please believe it.

"I don’t find the Roxboro community special. Only thing in Roxboro is somewhat affordable living. Compared to surrounding areas."

"I’ve lived here all my life. Even though it is a small town you will enjoy it. There aren’t as many job opportunities as there would be in a bigger town but the smallness pays off. "

"I am relocating to this area from NJ. It is just enough quiet but it also is not out of the way of community involvement. The larger city of Durham where the malls and night life are accessible is a plus."
