3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMclane Highschool is not a school you should send your kids to. As a student, it felt like most of my teachers were against me and then we have to talk about the way the school tries to do everything except help the kids. The community is nice but the fact they don't care for the kids is worse, the only thing they care about is how their school rating comes out to. Being inside of the classroom really feels draining with teaching methods being outdated and lousy.Student Review6mo ago - Rowell Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy sisters go to this school and it's nice to see that the teachers care about them. Security is on campus and ensures the kids are safe getting too school and out. There have honestly been weirdos that have been outside of the school, but in those situations this school is prepared to ensure the safety of the kids. Any regular kid situation that has come up has been handled in the most professional way. I love that this school was also a center for COVID vaccines to the public and went above and beyond with spreading that message throughout the neighborhood.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 3331 E Washington Ave.

"Lots of stray dogs and local neighborhood dogs who are allowed to get out and roam the neighborhood. Makes it hard to walk your dog because there’s always a chance you’ll encounter these dogs... I’ve had my dogs attacked quite a few times and I finally had to stop walking them in the neighborhood. "

"I have visited some businesses in this area. I can’t say too much about the safety of this neighborhood as I do not live here. I do have a couple of relatives that I visit often around this location and they have lived here a long time. I feel comfortable visiting during the day and I know the neighborhood had improved quite a bit from years ago when there was gang violence, it’s much quieter and calm. "
