I wrote earlier review about not being impressed with admin. Since, I received paper from Kathy Gordon/Specialist/High Ability Program on FWCS letterhead informing me that my child has been identified as High Ability (Gifted & Talented). When my son began exhibiting difficulties in school I expressed concern, NO ONE seemed interested in helping. I was denied an education evaluation, being told they didn't feel it necessary since test scores were considered benchmark or above-he took 1st grade math in kindergarten. If your child lacks & needs help, maybe you will get it here. If your child excels, good luck! My son had received a 1 day suspension for pushing table that caused chair to hit student in head. He was told by case mgr at next occurrence he'd be transferred to alternate school where he'd eat lunch at desk & have no gym, recess, music, or art. (NOT TRUE BTW). Yet another child who busted a kid's lip open & punched my son's throat/kicked his leg was at school next day. I transferred him from this school. My son's self esteem, confidence, & education is far more important than being conveniently located. I HAD to have two advocates help to obtain any help at all here.

A few good teachers. I haven't learned much here.

Great experience. Lots of after school opportunities. Teachers very supportive and friendly.
