6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a bridge program, my child went to this school for three years, starting during the 6th grade to take Algebra class. Although my child passed all the exit exams for Algebra during the early part of the year, the school didn't allow him to take the Geometry exam on the reason that the principal didn't want to see a small boy to sit in a classroom with high school kids. If they had no intention of letting him to take the Geometry class, why did they let him take the exit exams. When a classmate asked my child why he didn't take more high school courses during the classroom hours, the instructor overheard and must have reported to a principal of the who was in his 20s. The principal showed up next next and sat at on the teacher's chair to stare at my student for the entire period and many classmates wondered and asked my child why the principal starred at him for so long. For telling the truth, more retaliations followed, including removal of my student from first chair/seat of violin without the open audition and elimination of programs that my child did very well in prior years. Our tax money is funding public schools but look who are in the administration seats. Parents of one student had to sue this district to get the extra help their child needed after district said it will not provide the extra assistance since the government didn't pay enough. Why this district and other district get rid off useless administrators and spend more money on the supporting the students and hire better qualifying classroom teachers? If you have any issue at the school, DON'T keep your student there. Even after my student left this district, spying and bullying continued on my family by the ones who are associated with this district. This district expects the students and parents to lie to glorify this district. Gate program is a joke. It only exist to funnel the kids to the next door high school to keep the exam scores from collapsing. I've been through this horrible school for three years, and it went out of ways to prevent my student from leaving this district with countless calls and telling us that our student os enrolled in a high school in this district when I already registered my student at another district that offered higher math and science courses, which my child took all of them at that high school with zero tutor. My child never had a tutor for anything. I had to find a part time job within the boundary of another district for my student to leave,Parent Review2mo ago14 Reviews - Morse Avenue Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageValencia High School claims to be the best academic school in PYLUSD, but it's not. There are some good teachers but the most of them don't really care about their students and refuse to help. If students don't have good connections with certain groups of students or teachers, you are pretty much doomed. The information and opportunities are only given to certain students. It's not fair and not transparent. For those parents and students who praised about VHS it's probably because they were in the inner circle and got all the benefits from it. In order to keep students from going to their neighbor high school, VHS starts several programs like IB, Tech, Cambridge, SciOly, Robotics. Academic Decathlon.... But VHS doesn't really put much effort in them. If you don't have the connection with the certain teachers or upper class students, you will probably not get into those competition teams. And their goal is not to win the competition. They just want to sound nice to have those programs and teams in their school. If you want your kids to keep good grades, make sure to sign your students up with outside school review programs or hire tutors. VHS offers a lot of AP, IB classes but doesn't have good teachers to teach. You will have a student receive As in the AP classes but won't pass AP tests. Or teachers just gave a lot of homework to make the classes "harder" but don't really care about the quality of the homework. There are teachers who won't update the grades and grade students base on their impression. So the student either get a surprised A or a surprised B or C. Most of my friends who sent their older child to VHS do not send their younger ones there. The only few stay are those who have good connections with the school or their kids insist to go there with their friends.Parent Review2y ago13 Reviews - Check out schools near 330 Crestlake Cir.

"This is a great neighborhood for dogs. People are very kind and responsible. They do require leashes at the park, but most people are pretty cool if your dog is trained. "

"Lived here for 11 years. There is a sense of community. Neighbors know each other by name. Other neighbors walking by will say high. Families are predominate and kids play with one another. We feel safe here and have no plans to move - Placentia is a well kept secret of North OC. Stores, parks , restaurants will have the same small community vibe (in a Suburban setting) - it’s highly probable you will run across someone you know, have the door open for you, cars letting you go first on the road or just running across someone you know from your kids school."

"Placentia is a fun place to live with lots of community events going on. concerts in the park, taste of Placentia, Tamale fest, Harvest parade and so many more. We have a good school system. It is a safe city with plenty of sidewalks and parks. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers for all ages and we are centrally located to the 57, 91 and 55 freeways and a hop, skip and a jump to the John Wayne Airport."

"Dogs are common and welcome in Placentia. Unfortunately, there isn't a dog park in the city, but Brea has a nice, fairly new dog park on Valencia just past Lambert. They recently took the dog waste bins/bags out of the sports complex, but it's not that big of a deal. Most houses here have plenty of room for multiple dogs, just be careful with small dogs in the with as coyotes are active even in early hours of the morning. "
