Located in Hilo 8 minutes from the hospital, 7 minutes from UH, and 10 minutes from Bayfront.

Rent is $1000/month. This includes all utilities (water, propane, electric, internet, trash and lawn service).

I have a furnished room available starting June 1st in my house in the Kaumana neighborhood. Rent is $1000 per month (single/individual) and $1200 (couples) which includes all utilities (water, propane, electric, internet, trash, and lawn service). First month and deposit of $1000 is required. Available month to month but ideally looking for someone to stay a minimum of 6 months.

No pets, no smoking.
Section 8 housing not accepted.

This house has been 80% remodeled in the last year. Brand new roofing, all bathrooms have been completely remodeled with new toilets and showers, brand new flooring throughout most of the house, new screens, new stove, everything has been painted, and more.

The private room is furnished and includes:
-queen size mattress
-queen size bed frame
-nightstand
-lamp
-3 big windows with lots of light and a nice breeze)
-ceiling fan
-closet
-you will have your own bathroom that is furnished and has a very large, 2 shower head shower. This will only be used if guests come to the house. I have my own bathroom in my room.

Shared spaces/things include:
- Fully stocked kitchen which includes dishes, propane stove, fridge, dishes, blender, coffee maker, air fryer, and plenty of pantry storage etc
- Laundry room with washer and dryer. There is also multiple laundry lines in the carport
- There's an additional 1/2 bathroom by the laundry room
- Covered carport
- Living room with fireplace and Smart TV
- Dining area
- Covered lanai with garden
- Huge backyard and front yard space. Includes outdoor fire pit, chickens laying eggs daily, and lots of edible plants

What's included:
- Utilities (fast WiFi, city water, propane, electricity)
- I handle taking trash to the dump and refilling propane
- There's plenty of driveway space along with space in the carport
- Extra guest bedroom for guests to stay in on an as needed basis. This needs to be agreed upon before guests come to stay

The ideal roommate:
- A single person or couple with a steady source of income
- Good level of cleanliness around the house and shared spaces
- Someone who takes responsibility for shared chores around the house such as cleaning the kitchen or vacuuming
- Can be male or female
- This is not a party house, but someone who is okay with people coming over to entertain from time to time

About me:
-I am a 31 year old female
- I have 2 extremely friendly dogs (both Labs) who you will be living with. (Sorry, no more dogs at this time)
- I work remotely so I work from home at times in my office space, but often leave to work at other locations as well
- I prefer a peaceful and clean environment to live in
- I love gardening and have a lot growing throughout the yard
- I love surfing and spend most evenings and weekends at the beach surfing
- I occasionally have friends over for dinner or people here visiting. This will be discussed before people are planned to stay
