About this House

Near the lake and just steps from Point Gratiot Park back entrance; 1 block from Dunkirk Lighthouse. This quiet little tucked away lane has only a handful of houses on it, and ends at the back of Point Gratiot Lake Park. It is quiet, secluded and would make a great summer cottage, summer home or year round house. Renovations were begun but are incomplete, new owner's may finish to their heart's content!. This home has a full basement with concrete floor and an attached garage and is vinyl sided! A welcoming enclosed front porch is nice for summertime porch sitting! The living room has a brick fireplace, kitchen is good sized and there is a large laundry room on the first floor. The bathroom has been gutted out in preparation for a new one , and all of the plumbing lines have been run, there is a new toilet and new window; buyer has to put in tub, vanity, flooring and walls. The ceiling drywall has been taken down so new electric could be run, ceilings will need new drywall put up. All 4 of the bedrooms are on the second floor and do need TLC. Roof has been replaced except for back half of garage. Foundation work has just been completed by Tabone's; new gutters are installed and glass block basement windows have been installed. New sewer pipes were done. The furnace unit will need to be replaced. You can see the Lake from some windows when the leaves are off the trees, it's only 500 feet from the Park at Lake Erie and the Dunkirk Lighthouse! This is a nice project home, the area is wonderful! What a chance for you to be in a quiet location near the lake with the ability to renovate to your own personal taste!
