"This neighborhood is disgusting and dirty, there’s trash everywhere. I wouldn’t have my children here"
  • Forearm.scruffs-6f
"I don’t like this neighborhood. A lot of Ghetto birds. Fighting- hollering- I hated living in Woonsocket. "
  • Jack
"Sidewalks are decently kept and there’s a lot of quiet areas off not the main road. I believe there are a few dog parks in the area but I’ve never been."
  • Jack
"Not much, really. They’ve celebrated pride for the last two years so that has been nice! Other than that I am honestly not very involved with the community."
  • Jack
"I found the commute decent; there’s many ways to get to the same location. It never gets particularly backed up and even some of my difficult turns don’t take too much time to accomplish during rush hour."
  • Trulia User
"It’s awful. Too much crime. It’s nasty. And people don’t respect each other I can’t wait to move out of here. "
  • Trulia User
"I lived here as a kid and I am back here now. It's still the same now as it was then. A comfortable neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"I grew up in this neighborhood. We used to stay out late without the worries of any kind of harm. Everyone knew each other, and always looked out for everyone. Very beautiful neighborhood. Would love to come back "
  • Trulia User

  • Trulia User
"Quiet part of Woonsocket, relatively safe, and I can take the dog for a walk at night. A lot of people do not pick up after their dogs. "
  • Trulia User
"Living here under circumstances. Living with family in woonsocket. So far its really nice. Neighbors, neighboorhood, food "
  • Trulia User
"the traffic is very loud. some dogs react badly to it. there are no dark marks or woods around here. My dog and I have a routine where we didn't ever infringe on anybody's yard."
  • Trulia User
"Great neighborhood to raise a human family and furbabies too!! Always kids playing, adults walk their dogs or just walking. Reminds me of neighborhoods back in Tennessee "
  • Trulia User
"very high traffic area!! Dogs that are not accustomed, can easily become spooked and unless they're wearing a harness, can slip out of a collar and into Danger. "
  • Trulia User
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 3 years. All neighbors take care of their houses, we are friendly and help each other. "
  • Trulia User
"I've lived in this apartment for almost 5 years and the neighborhood is nice. I'm very comfortable in this area, it's walking distance to my son's job so that saves on gas. "
  • Trulia User
"There's parks near by to walk dogs. there's also a MUP that's quite long. People make great use of it. "
  • Trulia User
"there are only a couple fall fest and 4th of July. there is music and food trucks. the mayor comes to say hi to everyone."
  • Monique R.
"It’s pretty peaceful other than some noisy cars or trucks but it’s quiet. No one bothers you. Neighbors say hi to arch other an watch out for each other. I have been living here 22 years this October. "
  • Jen
"This is a poor school district for elementary age students. The local parks are known for drug activity. "
  • Kaitlyn J. D.
"People litter a lot so dogs might eat something they might get sick from. Plus it’s not a lot of area for the dogs to play "
  • Alison Z.
"Difficult at certain times due to traffic on Park Ave, heavy traffic due to plaza, shops and restaurants "
  • Korina M.
"Too busy; a lot of crime. The houses are extreme close together. The driveways are very small with hardly any backyard space. "
  • Lilbabe00
"Woonsocket autumnfest. Free live concerts at the park in the spring, summer and fall. The neighborhood playground is a great place for your child to play. "
  • Norma P.
"We have summer lunch at the park, Movie night, Autumn Fest, Football games, baseball games. We have a lot of parks to walk around."

  • Lilbabe00
"Great district to live in. Good schools. Neighbors tend to keep themselves. Street parking can get tight at times. Churches within walking distance. "
  • Dacia M.
"There’s random carnivals around town everyone once in a while. There are also a couple parks in the area"
  • Dfamdel
"Close to highways, stores, bus transportation . 15 minute commute to providence and 45 minute to Boston"
  • Damien L. S.
"Very dangerous at night. A lot of drugs and alcohol. I’ve seen a lot of gun violence near east school street, and there’s a lot of break ins over here also. Things have been stolen and broken and vandalized. It’s not at all a nice place to live and anyone who thinks it is is crazy. "
  • Michael W.
"have to walk about a half a mile to get the RIPTA bus or maybe it's a GATRA bus, to get to Forge Park. Other than that from this location on Diamond Hill Road it's a 20 minute walk to the downtown area, to get 10 minutes up the road. I don't know why there isn't a bus that runs along this major thoroughfare."
  • Beth B.
"Pretty good! It's on lkl y busy on the weekends, but even then, I'm not sitting around for too long!"
