The unit is located above the detached 4 car garage with two parking spaces in the garage available for the renter. It is located adjacent to the main house, but remains private and separate. Laminate flooring throughout with beautiful tile work in the bathroom. Kitchen includes a breakfast bar and the wrap around balcony provides a relaxing outdoor retreat with incredible unobstructed views of Mt Palomar, Fallbrook, and Oceanside. Some of the included photos were taken by the current tenant over the last two years to offer a glimpse into how unique this property is. The apartment is approximately 1100 sq ft including full kitchen, living room, bathroom, 2 good sized bedrooms, and washer and dryer. Kitchen has gas cooktop and oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator with icemaker. Unit has its own HVAC system, hot water systems, vaulted wood beam ceilings in every room, and many windows. There are views from every room that are incredible as the property is located on top of the hill at the end of a private road. The driveway is gated and the property is fenced around the house. There is an additional 4 acres that is fenced and is used for our goats, but could be used for your animals, as well. The remaining 10 acres is not fenced, but is available for other purposes, and includes a neglected lime grove. Most of the land is rugged and covered with original chaparral growth, boulders, and wildlife, but does offer the most impressive views in all of Bonsall. Utilities include water, trash, electricity, propane and 18 Mb internet speeds. Satellite can be ordered and installed by you, but is not part of the package. Utilities are based on typical usage and will be evaluated and adjusted based on observed consumption each quarter.
Minimum 1 year lease, background check will be required, verifiable stable income required. Dogs and cats will be considered, but dogs must be interviewed before acceptance. Additional non-refundable deposit required for each pet. Drive times: Oceanside - 30 min, Temecula - 15 min, Escondido - 12 min, Fallbrook - 20 min, San Diego - 45 min, La Jolla - 40 min. Also there are no school buses out here either. So unless you plan to drop your child off and pick them up daily, this isn’t an ideal location. "

    "Bonsall is on of the last remaining hidden jewels of San Diego county. Here, you enjoy the bucolic semi-rural living while yet being 15 minutes away from the stuff you want and need. This little community of 4,000 is neatly tucked into in valley 180 feet above sea level bisected by the San Luis Rey river (dry 8 months of the year) and encased by hills dotted with oak and blanketed with chaparral. In exchange for the inconvenience of being 51 miles from downtown San Diego, you will not only be rewarded with gorgeous views every day you look out the window and drive the smooth curvy country roads, but also get one of the top school districts in the area. The high school is on the tech cutting edge with small class sizes and high quality educators. By comparison, living in a similar level school district in the San Diego area will cost you at least another $300,000 on the price of your home. I had never heard of this little town when I was looking for my home, but one visit, my first, I was hooked and knew I had to live here... never look back never regretted it for a minute. Better hurry before everybody else finds out about this little Paradise! 🙂"
