"I love the squirrels. The old trees offer lots of shade and lots of room for wildlife. The streets are quiet and always filled with squirrels and birds."
  • Katy G.
"Great school low crime rate. Everything is pretty close in distance. Easy access to downtown as well as smith villa lake"
  • Bonnie N.
"lots of family oriented foot traffic, dog walkers, etc. mostly corporate owned business but some smaller chains in the area"
  • Bjjing2879
"There are good schools and a good neighbourhood and everything is closer around hear..................."
  • Dragon_fish76
"Dog owners would love that most places will rent to families with large or multiple dogs. They might object to the city wide leash laws, but as a non dog owner who uses public spaces, I love it! Also you must pick up after your pets as well."
  • Greg G.
"Nice little city within the Kansas City metro area but with out the 1% salary tax. Also you have to pay for your own trash disposal but I like the fact that I get a choice of vendors and am not limited to 2 trash bags as others in kc are."
  • Shelby G.
"It’s the best, not too busy. It’s quiet and quaint. I think gladstone is a very safe neighborhood and it has good schools"
  • Angela.nakoulima
"Get together in the area with members of neighbors. Also community events and neighborhood pool. Garage sales too"
  • Andi L.
"I have lived here for 3 years, great people, great police force, quiet neighborhoods for the most part. Wish there were more sidewalks as there are a lot of kids in the neighborhood. "
  • Greg G.
"This is a very nice community. Small town feel with big city access. Great school system. No KC 1% tax."
  • Mineminalex
"My neighborhood is nice, but not very friendly; our neighbors are very nosy. And there is quite a bit of crime in our neighborhood. I wish the area was more secure and welcoming."
  • Jessica B.
"I love living in Gladstone. So friendly and close to everything ! I feel safe living here and walking our dog at night. "
  • Lizbeth G.
"Neighbors here are extremely nosy. If you have dogs they will only be friendly upon arrival. After a few months of living there..be ready to have city notes on your door about your dogs. Dogs are like children they go outside to play and they happen to get loud. You settle them down, sush them but like children they go back to playing. My dogs are older so I can’t even imagine if I had younger pups. "
  • Amoseley1977
"Access to bus line is reasonable easy access to highway not much traffic going to and from work love the school district "
  • Erynmeyer
"People in our neighborhood are great with dogs, as long as, they are well taken care of and under control. "
  • Jessy L.
"very quite and quant very friendly and safe I enjoy living in this area, I love the schools in this area "
  • Jessy L.
"great schools, great parks , great community Center ,love the area and feel over all safe. "
  • Aimee C.
"I have everything I need in walking distance like shopping, restaurants, fast food, laundry mat, bank & pharmacy. "
  • Benjamin.horowitz
"We're pretty well located within 10-15 minutes of most major highways and shopping districts, which makes this a decent location for commuters that like options."
  • Adriandavis644
"Non understanding neighbor's that do not want to address you about an issue. but rather call the police."
  • Benjamin.horowitz
"In the summers, we have community "Theater in the Park" productions at Oak Grove Park. There are various free concerts held in Gladstone square during warmer seasons, and it's converted into a skating rink during Christmas time. In October, there's the Gladfest with rides, craft tents, local vendors and businesses, and food. "
  • Peggy S. P.
"I ways see ppl waliking their dogs. It’s a quiet cul-de-sak so it very conducive for them. And people are very considerate to pick up after them, in the common area they can use."
  • Sarah.morin95
