A families experience will always be different depending on your own family dynamics. If you support your student, you support the school. Waldo has been nothing but a wonderful school to us. The principals are so upbeat and motivating. The front office ladies are very helpful and always ready to answer any questions. The teachers are patient and willing to help you and your student. Open communication, never went beyond a day without a response.The CSOC runs the community events to the most respect towards all ethnicities. Im very glad we did not allow others experience affect ours. We entered 6th grade with an open mind and are leaving with our hearts filled. Thank you Waldo for the 3 amazing years!

very nice school its gotten better in the recent years, McKay Is sometimes buns but it has its good days. overall I like it better north Salem high school

My experience at Halmen Elementary was extremely negative and left a lasting impact on me. The teachers were often rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I especially remember hating school during 3rd through 5th grade because of how I was treated. Instead of being encouraged, I was frequently put down in front of the class, which made me shut down and lose confidence in learning altogether. At the time, I believed I was the problem. Looking back now, I realize that I wasn’t the lack of support, encouragement, and professionalism from the staff significantly affected my educational experience and emotional well being. School should be a place where children feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn, and that was not the environment I experienced here. I would never consider enrolling my child at this school. No child should feel discouraged or belittled by the very people meant to guide and support them.
