5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is not having a great experience at South. The staff does little when harassment is reported, and my child was singled out and harassed repeatedly by staff and admin over refusal of math support services in lieu of a private tutor. At this writing, they are focused more on how well the students "perform" -(I am quoting one teacher's words) and not enough on how well they learn. We find the atmosphere to be a very stressful, chaotic one-and the students are belligerent and defensive. We have found that the creative arts departments are decent-for all the cuts in funding-but my child is looking forward to HS-hoping we will have a better overall atmosphere and learning experience.Parent Review10y ago - Pennridge High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at Pennridge High School has been traumatic; the students are given few rules, which causes them to misbehave and destroy what rewards they are given; I've had teachers be extremely disrespectful and give me strange and unfitting punishments like placing me with students who harass me, the administrative staff is uncooperative and have little respect for their students. The counselors do not help the students that ask for it, and the principals befriend the kids who cause the most problems, leaving those harassed to continue being so. Do not choose Pennridge if you want your child in a safe space; they do not care.Student Review1y ago - West Rockhill El School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePennridge only helps kids that don't need it. If your child needs a little extra, they are shoved aside. They don't care if they are being bullied because the teachers bully the kids as much as the students. The new principal needs to find a job that isn't dealing with children because she has no idea how to talk to them. South Middle school is almost as bad. The teachers are bullies and most should be terminated. Think twice before enrolling your kidsOther Review8y ago - Check out schools near 325 Washington Ave.

"I’ve lived in this community for almost 4 years. Sellersville is kept clean, feels safe, and offers unique colonial homes. The small town boasts a fine dining establishment/hotel, a theater for live entertainment complete with a bar, cafes, antique shop, ice cream shop, medicinal marijuana dispensary, and other small businesses."
- Linda G.

"I live about 3 miles away. It's not a bad area, there are walking/bike trails very close by and they are probably the biggest asset. There's a nice cafe, and a good ice cream shop nearby that are very popular. It's walking distance to 4+ banks, a grocery store, drugstore, McDonald's etc. Two decent restaurants within a mile or so. Sellersville and Perkasie are great communities to live in and have a lot of fun family-centered events throughout the year, Christmastime being the biggest one. Pennridge is a great school district and would recommend it to anyone."

"Great area to raise a family. The community is very pleasant. The location is great in that it's 45 minutes to Philadelphia or Allentown."
