"I dunno I haven’t attended any community events in my neighborhood. But Colcord has an excellent Halloween party every year; about 5 blocks are shut off to traffic, everyone decorates, there’s music, and it’s pretty neat."

"The nighborhoods are very confusing safety wise, you can mansions on one block and be in a dangerous part the next block over. I can’t say much about the schools but from what I have heard from teachers Woodway ISD treats staff well so I think there’s probably more retention there "

"There are a lot of strays running around. And there are people who don’t pick up after their animals. So, I’ve gotten yelled at by 3 different people about my dogs going on the edge of their lawn by the sidewalk. There’s a lot of people who don’t care for their animals and just let them out of their houses, not fenced, off leash, to roam around the streets. It’s really weird. People are weird "

"5-20 minute drive to several gas stations, restaurants and retail stores. Local banks close by along with clinics and dentist office. China Spring Schools are within 5-10 minute drive depending on which one attending. Waco Fire Station is 1 mile away."

"I live in the neighborhood, it's close to downtown, Baylor and I 35. Shopping and dining options are within walking distance. The neighborhood is very nice and friendly, mostly quiet at night. The only obstacles are the construction 🚧 sites in the area otherwise the area is very good and a great place to work, live, or to visit. "

"Good access to public transportation, usually a quiet neighborhood, feel safe walking, driving, etc. I don't commute but it can get busy on all the major streets at normal rush hour times. Other times it's very easy to get where you want to go; most everything is 10-15 minutes away. "

"People walk there dogs all the time but you have to tolerate the loud cars, speeding cars and extremely loud car sound systems. People set off fireworks when they are sold. People leave their dog’s tied up all day and night, regardless of weather. If you love animals, don’t move to Texas."
