Description

Set in the treasured Cameron Park neighborhood, this standout, former Parade of Homes residence showcases avant garde design, distinctive style, and duende rarely found in Central Texas. Carefully curated by its single, well traveled owner; the home was commissioned without concern for cost with a single mandate: intrigue. ~ Four bedrooms, an office, and three bathrooms across nearly 3,400 square feet are highlighted by the home's soaring ceilings, walls of glass, and fantastically open floorplan. Conjuring an inviting, welcoming atmosphere that's light, airy, and spacious while still soliciting high drama, each room is intentional and defined in its purpose yet seemingly integrated in the adjoining space. Few homes so seamlessly merge spaces, yielding an ultimate flexibility without feeling messy or worse, as if the home is just one, big, giant box. ~ Here, instead, each space is framed by an architectural element that's as subtle as it is sophisticated: the peak of the pool past the firepit, magnificent fireplace mantle, book matched cabinetry, and chic fixtures all play in concert to envelope the entrant in a serene calm that's curious if not inspired. The main floor hosts two bathrooms, an office, and the primary suite; thus requiring no other accommodation by most. Upstairs, three bedrooms and a bathroom round out guest, gym, or media space possibilities with stellar views and similarly stylish settings. ~ Outside, the half acre (plus) lot is tidy and private. Just steps from the best hiking and biking trails in Texas, this prized proximity to Cameron Park is worth the asking price alone. A short drive to Baylor University and downtown Waco ensure that there's no place more desirable in all of Wacotown. ~ A true 'one of one', this is an exceptionally unique opportunity to acquire a distinctive property well below the cost of duplication. ~ Interested? Immediate inquiry is advised.

"Stray dogs just running around would be the only thing other then that it’s a quiet area my kids feel safe "
  • Natalie Hill
"I am not a dog owner so I don’t know for sure, but there are lots of sidewalks that you can walk your dog on as well as nearby parks. "
  • John derrick velasquez
"I see dog walking and pet owners all of the time. Everyone picks up the dog poop and are friendly pet owners in the neighborhood"
  • Danielle
"I dunno I haven’t attended any community events in my neighborhood. But Colcord has an excellent Halloween party every year; about 5 blocks are shut off to traffic, everyone decorates, there’s music, and it’s pretty neat."
  • WacoBear22
"The nighborhoods are very confusing safety wise, you can mansions on one block and be in a dangerous part the next block over. I can’t say much about the schools but from what I have heard from teachers Woodway ISD treats staff well so I think there’s probably more retention there "
  • Danielle
"There are a lot of strays running around. And there are people who don’t pick up after their animals. So, I’ve gotten yelled at by 3 different people about my dogs going on the edge of their lawn by the sidewalk. There’s a lot of people who don’t care for their animals and just let them out of their houses, not fenced, off leash, to roam around the streets. It’s really weird. People are weird "
  • Scocinperry
"5-20 minute drive to several gas stations, restaurants and retail stores. Local banks close by along with clinics and dentist office. China Spring Schools are within 5-10 minute drive depending on which one attending. Waco Fire Station is 1 mile away."
