  • Trulia User
"It is a well established community that is weathering the storm that afflicts a city in sudden sporadic growth We will weather this storm and any other . This place is called Home to many whom have lived here through Three or more generations and many newcomers who chose to make this place their new home. I wish I could find an appropriate rental here. I am on the edge in a house I have afforded to live in for twenty-nine yrs. The house was recently sold and I find that I may be under the bridge at age 79 due to so-called gentrification . Durham is known for undermining it's citizens in the name of progress. It's a backhanded way of doing things but it will come out alright because the so-called little people come together when they realize what is happening."
  • Trulia User
"My entire family moved from California to this neighborhood.. it was a big change as everything in life it grew and has gotten to a point where you can walk your dog in the middle of the night and feel safe …. I feel comfortable for my older parent to live there .. everything from the park to the side walks hav improved .. I love Northgate park it’s beautiful neighborhood "
  • Trulia User
"This is traditionally a family friendly neighborhood however the city of Durham is rapidly growing. "
  • Trulia User
"New elementary school coming soon! Nice area with good neighbors. Being in the middle if the triangle area gives great access to many activities and areas."
  • Trulia User
"I commute by private auto (mine)! There are no bus stops or traffic lights off the main thoroughfare. The only sidewalks are on the main thoroughfare!"
  • Trulia User
"I drive it is convenient to Raleigh, Morrisville, chapel hill and downtown Durham . It is close to all the major highways "
  • Trulia User
"Very bike-friendly if you work within the beltway. I drive to work in another town. Easy and enjoyable."
