8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Principal Ms. Turner is very Hypocritical and doesn’t care about her students and only cares on how other people view her. The mask policy here is terrible. For example today was picture day and the photographer and a couple of the teachers had there masks off inside which shows that she doesn’t care about the policy. I don’t feel safe at Owen with ms turner being our principal. Don’t go to this schoolParent Review2y ago - W D Williams Elementary

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWD Williams is a diamond in the rough. The teachers are dedicated to education and inclusion. The support staff meets the moment every day. LGBTQ students and parents are embraced and welcomed without hesitation. Every single person working there goes above and beyond their calling.Parent Review7mo ago - Charles D Owen Middle

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI won't give any child names, but a teacher that goes by the last name of 'Smith' is allowing her students to outcast, bully, and outright damage the PRIVATE property of a single student. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't want my students bullying anybody. This has been going on for almost two weeks and the moment said-single student stands up for themself, the school tells the parents to take their child out of school. Why? Because the school wants to cover up bullying cases like they have for years. They did it with former students, they will do it with newer students. The school has been contacted numerous times about the damage of the project that was made, and the teacher even tried to give credits from that project to OTHER STUDENTS who WEREN'T AND NEVER DID working/work on it. That's so disrespectful. I'd give -1,0000/100 as a review for another similar reason, being the school not handling the teacher, nor the problem, but making it even worse for the student(s)/parents by telling the parent to take their child out of school over calling another student a name for -by the way -was allowed to break the project.Other Review11mo ago - Buncombe County Middle College High School
