9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two students at Bill Roberts, middle school and elementary who have been here since Kindergarten. I can't say enough good things about this school. From rigorous academics to community events almost every weekend! Every year keeps getting better. They got a new principal 2 years ago and it only made things more exciting. He held tight to all the wonderful traditions but brought some new energy. Teachers are all experienced and so engaged at the school. And I love that my middle schooler still sees their sibling every day. Middle schoolers are more focused on academics than their phones. Love this school.Parent Review1y ago42 Reviews - Swigert International School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are so grateful to the teachers at Swigert, they are absolutely passionate and the children learn so much. Our communication with our teacher has been excellent, and we feel they play a big part in inspiring the kids to learn and like school. The teachers also seem very happy as they can teach the curriculum as they wish. This is a very well-funded school due to its fundraising which creates resources that the children benefit from. There are some fun family events during the year as well. 4/5 stars as I think it could be more of a diverse community and have seen unwelcoming high-school like behaviors from parents in the community that administrators turn a blind eye to, which can be uncomfortable. I hope in the future if the admins observe these behaviors they call them out so people can feel emotionally safe.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - McAuliffe International

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a student here and I have so much confidence about highschool, the average grade here is an A in high. My counselor and deans are amazing, we don't have AC in some classesrooms and I've heard a lot of complaining about that but most DPS school don't have that so chill out. I'm in 8th grade so I have some experience and it's really not as bad as these reviews are making it seem, good education!Student Review7mo ago17 Reviews - Isabella Bird Community School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhite families and kids will definitely be happier and more acceptable in this school. Lots of staff and parents are nice but there are enough of the opposites to make you feel white supremacy strongly. It was sad that I had to pull my kid out after I ran out of white lies about it!!!!!Parent Review5y ago11 Reviews - DSST: Conservatory Green Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has pros and cons. This is surprisingly a really diverse school (nothing is wrong with that) and has some very good clubs and activities. Aside from its pros like every school, it has its lists of cons. One thing the school can really improve on is their punishments, they use a system called an “RP” to punish bad kids (which makes you miss either lunch or recess) Which does not really give the students a harsh punishment because the same kids keep getting them over and over again. I suggest that instead of the “RP” system they make the students do something more affective like clean the school kitchen, or help clean the classrooms instead of recess. Another problem I would like to note is the dating, lots of kids in this school make out and have secret social media accounts which ship students with each other. The school also needs a better job of teaching the kids respect and discipline, I am constantly hearing about fights in this school and kids cussing in the hallways. I also am constantly encountering groups of disrespectful girls that laugh at me and talk about me behind my back. The school will probably not listen to this feedback but I will update this review if they consider it.Student Review2y ago8 Reviews - Northfield High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI spent 9th-11th grade in DSST: Conservatory Green High School and moved to Northfield for senior year, and I could not have asked for a better experience! Here's why:I love the block schedule of four 90-min classes a day (except Mondays) because it's less stressful and you get more done in class. You can take up to 8 classes which helps me get the most learning out of schoolLate start EVERY MondayFree periods for grades 10-12thPlethora of classes/clubs/sportsIB classes (easier and more comprehensive than AP)Friendly teachers who are passionate about their jobsHelpful Future Center with monthly check-ins and scholarships posted weeklySTRONG STUDENT COUNCIL that plans multiple spirit weeks, pep rallies, dances, and wish weekGREAT school communicationSTUDENT-LED SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS!Great facility including 5 piano practice rooms (with an auditorium on the way!)Library with the nicest librarian everDiversity of studentsMany off-campus food optionsLots of SCHOOL CULTURE!Student Review11mo ago19 Reviews - DSST: Montview Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLove this school. The principal from day one has been extremely supportive, approachable and has interacted with our kiddo by getting down on his level and speaking to him and engaging with him directly. We have a kindergartner and all the big and little things she did made us and him feel very welcomed. We moved to this state in hopes of having a better education experience for our kids than what we were getting in the south and we have 100000% felt this was the right choice and school. The teachers are amazing and have taken time to even do check is with me at pick up to tell us how our kiddo is progressing and have provided suggestions on items we can improve on when asked or when needed. They genuinely appear to be interested in both his emotional and educational growth, support and needs. We wouldn't ask for a more supportive team to start our school journey.Parent Review2mo ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near 3201 N Syracuse St.

"Commute is excellent via rtd to the city center. Driving is ok with reasonable traffic. Cycling on roads is sketchy but there are designated cycle paths which are good. "
